(Senior) Manager – Insurance Sales Processes

Our insurance team supports leading companies in the insurance sector through a wide range of projects in sales, strategy and transformation. We are looking for new colleagues who will use their existing expertise to provide committed support to our responsible Director.

As part of our insurance project team, you will gain deep insights into complex topics and current developments in the industry. You will also have ample scope to shape your career path in line with your own ambitions – with the full support of the entire team up to board level.​

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • You support the Director Insurance in expanding and further developing our consulting services in the insurance sector, with a focus on sales, business development and client relationship management.
  • You identify and proactively pursue new business opportunities and play an active role in building a strong client pipeline.
  • You maintain and develop long-term, trust-based relationships with prospective clients and partners.
  • You contribute to proposal development, pitch presentations, and sales materials that align with client needs and SKAD’s high-quality standards.
  • You work closely with consulting teams to align client acquisition efforts with delivery capabilities.
  • Optionally, you may contribute to the further development of our company through initiatives in corporate development or marketing

Your profile

 

  • You bring an entrepreneurial mindset: self-driven, proactive, and eager to shape your own career path.
  • You have solid professional experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management – preferably within the insurance or consulting industry.
  • You have practical, hands-on experience in sales, such as direct client acquisition, managing customer relationships, or taking on commercial responsibility.
  • Experience in sales training or in further developing sales organisations (capability building) is advantageous.
  • You are familiar with various sales channels such as agency, broker, bancassurance, and direct (digitally enabled).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a persuasive and client-focused approach.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings if needed – 100% remote working is possible from SKAD’s side
  • Fluency (C1+) in both German and English
